It was a particularly exciting night in the Yarra Valley as fellow guests gathered together for an evening at Healesville Sanctuary filled with networking, learning and opportunity. Guests were treated to a special guest appearance by Wurundjeri elder Murundindi, who performed the didgeridoo & proceeded with the traditional Welcome to Country to conduct the event. Murundindi provided guests with interesting history of his Country & people, and essential facts about using the land. Did you know when rubbed together under water, black wattle leaves turn into soap – which doubles as a hand sanitiser?

A Yarra Valley Business event is not complete without networking opportunities – there were plenty of opportunities for business owners and employees to mingle before, during & after the event. Halfway through the evening, guests were treated to a delicious “bush tucker” meal prepared by caterers at Healesville Sanctuary.

On behalf of Yarra Valley Business, we would like to firstly thank Healesville Sanctuary for hosting us at the warm & wonderful Brolga Room event space. We would like to extend our first thanks to the magnificent catering team at Healesville Sanctuary for the delicious dinner. Secondly, we thank the continuous our guests for the evening, who have continuously supported YVB in every way. Lastly, we graciously thank Murundindi for providing our guests with your great knowledge about the local area & history of our Country of Wurundjeri.
